Unable to Play Roblox

Every time I try to join a Roblox game, I get the following error:

This has been happening for at least 4 days, but the change could have happened long before that because I haven’t been on Roblox much lately.

  • Ryzen 5 4500U
  • 8GB Memory
  • Integrated Graphics

Thanks for the report! I filed a ticket in our internal database and we’ll follow up when we have an update for you.

I just saw another person with the same disconnect message as you, with the issue being that their client wasn’t upgrading properly and stuck on an older version. Make sure you’re on version 589.

This appears to have been the issue! I haven’t been seeing an update message when launching games from the website, but I launched the Roblox Player directly and it updated. Now I’m able to join games without error. Thank you!
