Currently, as of 10/23/24
, I’m unable to publish to a specific place. I’ve tried publishing to it via studio, and via opencloud APIs. Both result in an internal server error being thrown. This issue started occurring around 8:00 PM EST yesterday, on the 22nd.
Place ID : 10574058924
Steps I’ve reproduced with locally:
-
Open studio. Create a new file (empty baseplate).
-
File → “Publish to Roblox as…” → Select the place
-
Publish fails
-
Attempt to publish place file via opencloud APIs (in my case, I did it via mantle).
-
Internal server error is thrown, publish fails.
Expected behavior
It is expected that I would be able to publish to one of the places in my universe without server failures

Hi. Sorry for the inconvenience. Can you provide studio log when publish failed and can you suggest the endpoint open cloud upload hits just to confirm. Thanks

Hi @GeneralTso58! Here’s the studio log and endpoint used.
Did you happen to be uploading by hitting an endpoint on www.roblox.com outside of studio. Also not sure if I see any errors on the log you dropped. The publish there seems to have succeeded.
As I mentioned, I’d tried publishing both through studio, and via opencloud’s place publishing API. Neither one was working.
That’s odd! The log I provided is the only studio log file I have from the same general time that the publishing errors were occuring.
I also want to mention, studio updated about 20 minutes ago and the internal server errors seem to have stopped. Not exactly sure what’s going on here, but the issue with opencloud and studio have “magically” started working normally.
It seems like the issue has resolved. Let us know if it starts happening again!
