I recently discovered screenshots I had from an old childhood Roblox account I created back in 2012. Unfortunately, I’ve forgotten the password and I doubt there was ever an email attached to the account.
I contacted Support about this, and after a nearly 5-day wait, I received a response stating that they couldn’t recover the account without further verification, in which I followed up with a little background on the account as well as a screenshot that clearly shows my avatar and username in-game.
Despite this, I just received a response stating they still can’t verify ownership on their end, and essentially cutting ties with me.
I’ve provided everything that I have memory of, and I’m not sure if there’s anything else I can say or do to move forward with this. Is there any way to get this to someone higher up, or a way to avoid responses that feel outsourced or automated?
Well, if you don’t have an email linked to your childhood account, there’s basically no way to get back to your account. The only solution is to try finding videos of you putting in your password or searching through all of your device’s saved passwords. Simply, try to find any evidence of your password. Maybe it’s similar to your password? Maybe as well on other passwords unrelated to Roblox.
That’s true. You could give a list to Roblox of passwords you think it could be. If it’s similar to the actual one, they may be able to give it to you.
I texted him earlier and he had no idea. I’m gonna try some common passwords and maybe I’ll get lucky but I have a feeling it was like some weird combination of words.
