Hey, I wanted to try out rigging on a turtle i’ve recently made, but the bones move while the mesh is unaffected :

Try select your turtle mesh (not bones) and find in left top corner text “Object Mode”. Click on it and then find “Weight Paint Mode”. This will show you, does bones affect on mesh. (blue = 0%, green = 50%, red = 100%)
After, for looking for all bones go to Collections menu, open armature, then mesh, and find “Vertex Groups”. By selecting this vertex groups you can see weight for bone you selected. By default, vertex group name same as bone name.
If your turtle will be everywhere blue, try search in google “how Paint Weight in blender”.
