Unable to set game access permissions as non-group-owner

Studio doesn’t allow you to change the access permissions in group places of groups you aren’t an owner of. In my case, I am trying to change the permissions of a testing place to allow for testers to test our our game. My Roblox account has the group role permission to edit any place, but I get the following error.

I am able to log into the group owner account and change permissions from there. Doesn’t seem intentional to be able to only do it from the owner account, especially since I am able to see the permissions view in Game Settings.

You should see Introducing Unified Game Permissions, it says that

That only applies to user owned games. This is a bug related to group games.

This is still an issue. Logging into an entirely new Studio session on another account is a slow process and significantly impacts our ability to make new places and give people the correct permissions when needed.

We are seeing similar behaviour, but in our case players with Edit permission to a group game are unable to change permissions. The controls in Game Settings > Permissions are greyed out for all except the owner.

Is this expected behaviour? It definitely wasn’t like this just 4 months ago.
