I’m trying to union these part to reduce the lags. And this came up. This never really happened to me before,

Hello, Bii_Pan.

I may have a solution to this, as it has been happening to my friend. Basically, you want to Union the different parts one by one. For example, if you have a negate part, Union it to one of the parts on the door. Then do it to the other parts, etc. **If you don’t have a negate part, Unioning won’t work so make sure you use a negate part whether it’s extremely small or whether it’ll put a square/hole in the door. **

You could also try exporting it to blender and then importing it again, so it’ll be one mesh, and meshes tend to cause less lag than Unions.

I hope this is a solution to your problem!

You cant union when they’re a part of a model. Make sure to ungroup them and then it will work. If not please reply and tell me it didn’t.

I hope this helped you!

I did that but it didn’t work ;v;

You should look for other posts on this before creating a post, but the solution I find that works is moving around the whole object or parts of the object and trying then. Reload it and try this, it works 99% of the time

The error stated that you can try unioning the parts individually, if that doesn’t work then you will have to use negate and then union for it to work.

  • Duplicate the parts you wish to union and then place them around the model where you wish to negate it then click “NEGATE” when you think the parts are spot on then hold SHIFT + C and click the parts you wish to make a union with the negated versions.

Take the model. do strg+u and then union it.

Can you try my solution in which I replied to you, please? You blatantly ignored it, and I’m just trying to help you out here.

I am in the proceed of doing that- Blender is slow for me, I’m not ignoring your solution ;v;

Alright, good luck. Try using my first solution as well.

I tried your first solution, I did union a lot of the parts together but all of it still not a union as a whole if you know what I mean. As for the blender solution, I don’t think my laptop can handle Blender atm . - ., I tried to open it up but sadly it crash everytime ;v;

I got a question for you. Are you using CSG V1 or are you using CSG V2?
To check which one you are using, go to settings on studio, physics and “Disable CSG V2”. If the box is checked, it means you are using V1. Otherwise, you are using V2.

If the box is checked, uncheck the box, restart studio and try unioning them again. CSG V1 isn’t very stable when it comes to unioning parts together compared to CSG V2.

Ok, well maybe my first solution was misworded

  1. get a negate part, it could be really really slim or the height and length of the door. See the middle and biggest part on the door? Select the negate part and that middle/biggest part and click Union. Repeat the process by making more negate parts and then like I said, selecting both parts and unioning. Do that for every part, and then group it.

OR, you could simply make one slim negate part and then select every normal part (of the door) and clicking Union and hopefully it’ll work.
