After I received a hat through a trade, I am unable to wear the hat.
This happened right after I received Clockwork's Shades - Roblox through a trade and attempted to wear it. After I tried to wear it, my character’s profile picture did not appear to be wearing it, and refreshing the avatar page showed I was not wearing it.
When I go to the hat page in order to try to wear the hat, it tells me that I am able to take it off; but when I click on it, an error occurs: https://i.gyazo.com/308c226cdecd8d9939ff13fa36fa926e.mp4
I have logged in and logged out multiple times in hopes that I would be able to wear it. I have tried on a different browser, as well as trying to use the ROBLOX Mobile App in order to wear it. I have even manually sent a POST request in order to wear the hat, which the server responds true but does not actually wear the hat.
Inspecting the network traffic when wearing the hat from the avatar page showed me this: https://image.prntscr.com/image/-DXl-8nIRhSe2At9hoKRzg.png Which leads me to believe that this is a backend issue with roblox (possibly the item is moderated?)
I am unsure if this hat is somehow bugged specifically due to the trade, or if this item instance is locked? This has not ever happened to be me before, and I have not heard of this happening to anyone else.
