Unban as microtransaction

I have seen many Roblox experiences selling unbans for Robux. This includes temporary and permanent bans. This applies to games that see an average concurrent player count of over 5 thousand and hundreds of millions of visits. Many other games that offer individual player-made gamemodes do not allow selling unbans. If this is well enforced and if it should be is a different topic, but I just want to know if Roblox Guidelines also disallow this. I can’t seem to find anything clear regarding this on the DevForum. Most discussions are also older and since then the banning API has been implemented.

I just want to add to this that I understand that a creator of an experience can ban whomever they would like and also make their own rules for their game.
But what happens if a player breaks Roblox TOS, he gets banned by the Creator but let’s say not by Roblox. If the creator now offers him to purchase an unban, wouldn’t the creator be indirectly promoting behavior that breaks Roblox TOS or something?
I appreciate every answer and thanks for reading!

→ dev bans player
→ paid “re-access” for supposedly cheating individual

there is an argument that it is an “extortion” which is against tos. this topic is too muddled and would likely be derived into extortion and thus breaking the rules

can you list out experiences that do those practices? I’ve honestly never heard anyone do this–only free appeal approaches (or no appeal at all).

If the transaction & dealing is made outside of the game itself–I don’t think there is anything roblox can do–but monetizing it directly in game seems questionably nefarious at best

I could list names, but I’d rather do that anonimously. I’m just a very very careful person. Regarding deals outside of the game, I’d think this is a way clearer violation of Roblox ToS, as it is an off-platform transaction for a Roblox experience. I think it’s something like off-platform transactions of virtual items. Take all this with a grain of salt, I’m not too sure and I’m even less sure when it comes to how well it is enforced.
I’m just kind of confused here, because I think this is a very normal question, especially for a game like Roblox and how it offers various experiences that are managed and controlled by Roblox players, not moderators. And I can’t find any official answer by moderators or Roblox itself. Would you say it is enough of a question to create a Support ticket, or do questions like that not belong there?

I can name a front page, roblox-endorsed game that has been doing R$1500 paid unbans since 2022.

There is no enforcement on this.

I guess if there is no official coverage regarding this topic and seemingly no enforcement, it doesn’t matter if it’s in ToS. I will mark your response as solution. Thanks for your time and effort, this has been helpful!
