Thats especially good for you and your YouTube( That I may or may not watch) hehe

Yes. If the pricing does go up it will make it harder for roblox users to buy the lowest limited items. For instance a few years back when I joined there were limiteds selling for ~175 but now the lowest ones are at ~450 and robux are even more expensive now. Obviously the benefits of the current update as well as yours out way the cons but it is one of my concerns for the general roblox population.

Thank you coefficients! This is a great update!

This. First they took away dev ex for only tier 3 premium and now this. It seems like they are incentivizing premium less and less. I know for sure I won’t be buying premium now until I need it to devex.

That’s what I’m thinking. I mean I would have expected them to lower it to maybe 50 or 40 but not 30, but hey, I’m not complaining.

I understand what you mean. However, with a cut in the marketplace fee, obtaining more robux to match that fee would not be a problem. Also, the limited item system has seemed to halt; I have not seen any new limited hats in a while unless I am mistaken.

You are right about the limited system and I definitely think there needs to be new (or buffed) benefits for premium. However, with what you said, yes it will be easier for developers to earn more robux. The problem with this is that the general roblox community isn’t developing. I guess that roblox developers don’t buy as many things on the catalog so it won’t be as big of a problem? but still.

woooooooo, mooorreee revenueeee - new or old? 30%. premium or not? 30%

A nice and friendly move to balance out revenue for most developers who don’t have Premium, but I do have to agree on compensating current and upcoming Premium members with something else that will work in the long run.

Roblox has recently been making very good steps. I am happy to see Roblox improving their developers revenue. This will bring even more developers onto the platform.

Builders Club membership was targeted towards developers – the extra groups and the ability to make groups for hosting game communities, Robux stipend for assets like badges, audio (though you could buy anything really), and so on. So it would only make sense for Premium to be targeted at the same users.

If anything I like where Roblox is going. I am not able to buy premium every month and many other people cannot as well.

I like that Roblox team is making the platform more bearable to “free users”. In fact, premium purchases are probably going to be going up for DevEx, since new developers will actually be able to make a good profit and cash out.

It’s a win-win situation.

I never thought about how more people will devex. Great point! I like these new updates as much as anyone but just wanted to point out that every positive has a negative.

Yes. We’re getting ever closer to the point where you won’t need to invest any money into Roblox to cash-out.

Non-Premium Dev Ex when?

But there is no negative. Premium isn’t losing anything. It still has something. Extra groups for joining/creating game communities, the lump of Robux you get once you buy it, ability to publish clothing.

All related to game development, and non-Premium users can’t do that. The only non-game development feature I can think of is trading.

to be fair i’m soooo behind on roblox updates so yeah fill me in if necessary

Premium is still useful.

Premium? More like useless, no point in getting it tbh unless you’re a clothing designer, although I guess you can’t dev-ex without it so that’s another reason

Wouldn’t this cause ROBLOX to lose a fair amount of money due to less sales towards premium?
