Create new place
Enable Collaborative Editing
Create and edit any script without commiting the changes
Close studio and Uninstall it
Reinstall studio and open the place
Expected Behavior
I expected script drafts to be stored somewhere on the cloud, or at least in the local placefile that i very frequently save, to seamlessly get back into my work after a fresh install of roblox studio
Actual Behavior
All of my script drafts for all of my places have been deleted
Workaround
Disable Collaborative Editing in all my current places, so any changes i make save both in the cloud and my local placefiles

What seems worse is that there is no warning of this lost progress before re-installing. With Roblox branding everything as being integrated online, it becomes quite unexpected that a crucial feature like drafts is only stored locally and so easily lost.
Seriously right here. I have no notification on what I could potentially lose after uninstalling roblox, and I haven’t really thought about it until now where I lost basically all my progress on a game that had most scripts drafted. Uninstalled roblox all because of a bug too.
Hopefully they add some type of warning when roblox is being uninstalled.
Hi we have a project lined up to fix it (it’s unfortunately more effort to fix than we’d like) but it’s on the Creator roadmap for the first half of next year. Thanks for your patience!
