Union bug w/ negation (studio)

Hello, I’ve known about this issue for a long time, but I was wondering if there was easier way to fix it. In the video, I posted, the floor is made up of many parts. I unioned them all together and then created a negation inside of my union. However, when I go through it, the player gets caught or stuck on some invisible wall of some sort.

Let me know if anyone knows if there is a fix for this or if I just cant make this a union at all. Let me know in the comments. Thanks.

Heres the issue occuring in the video:

This is how Roblox generates hitboxes on unions. You really can’t fix it, however I found a video that may somewhat help you.

It is good practice not to use unions in these ways, they increase memory as well as have the collision issues you’re showing us here.

I get what you’re saying, but if i have the part ununioned it makes the floor look like a glitchy mess. But I’ll see what I can do.

I’ll test this out and see if it works. Thanks.

@anxyeity I did something similar to the video you posted here in my game and it’s much better now. Thanks.
