Union framework change removed color changing?

So, I know that there was a change in how Unions functioned relatively recently, and I noticed a functionality missing. So, when you negate a part with a different part color, it typically ends up something like this:

However, while building a new sword weapon, repeating my same sharpening process:

I’m left with a uniform color across the entirety of the top blade, even when UsePartColor is false.

Is there a way to re-enable that functionality, am I just missing something blatantly obvious, or is it gone for good?

They’re aware of it, this is a side effect of the new CSG solver.
They plan to address this later as far as I know.

Thank you! I was caught off guard for a second there.

In the meantime you can go to your studio settings to disable CSGv2 to get the functionality back
