How can I smooth that out? I unioned two half spheres together and that happened. The other side looks fine for some reason.
As you can see only the white half is weird.
If I am correct, this is because one side decided not to smoothen while rendering the new union. I don’t really know how to fix this other than retrying to union it or recreating this in Blender. ROBLOX recreates the tris in Studio, which is probably why this occurred. One side turned out smooth through the rendering of the new union, while the other didn’t. I don’t think there is a clear fix to this, but I will be gladly proven wrong if there is a better fix than redoing the mesh/union in Blender.
I could be wrong about this, but I hope this helps anyways.
Addition to what I said last week, I am pretty certain that ROBLOX just released a new smoothing mechanism. If I am correct, and if you have beta features, you should be able to use a new CSG smoothing method that I am pretty sure is more refined and robust than their older version! If you have any questions, I’d be happy to assist in any way!
I don’t know exactly what you are trying to do but why not just use special sphere meshes instead of unions?
