UM:E Placement Patch Release
With this patch the primary focus is a long awaited resolution to the extremely buggy placement engine, this update also comes with some impactful changes for the quality of life for players and minor performance improvements.

The placement engine has been rewritten, resolving a ton of fundamental issues with how placement works.
a) Complications regarding grid-snapping with multiple items is now significantly more stable.
b) Placement is now a bit more lively as well, with redesigned animations whenever you start placing and once you’re finished entirely new animations play for the items you’re done with!

Items with “overhanging” hitboxes now allow said overhanging hitboxes to be placed outside of the plot.
a) We hope to increase the viability of existing items and smoothly allow more creative hitboxes to be used in setups with this change! -
Dolomite Extractor and Moldy Macron have received update models, I wonder what this means for the future?
a) Additionally, “Dolomite Extractor” has been renamed to “Dolomite Needle” with a redesign to match the real world material counterpart.
Along with this the “Moldy Macron” has been re-baked to a fresh Sakura Macron!

The range before you leave a plot has been increased.
a) Accidentally leaving your base while working on your setup should now be a thing of the past!
