I’ve recently stumbled upon a ton of unknown scripts which weren’t what I made, and it keeps going and going. Ever since I join Roblox studio, these scripts keeps getting added I don’t know where it’s coming from and I need it to stop. It is getting annoying just deleting it, every time I see an error in the output I always think I messed something up, but actually it was those script viruses. It is interfering with my games!
Probably a plugin? [filler][filler][filler][filler][filler][filler]
I do suspect a plugin, but I how would I know which one?
Can we see your plugins? {filler}
Its your building tools and part to terrain. People will end up stealing plugins and editing them to have malicious code for things like server sided executors. They usually end up posting these plugins under groups like “Cool Plugins” or “R0blocx”
Ah I see, it has the text that says that its allowed injections to scripts
Plugins owned FrontPlugins and QualityPlugins are fake, remove those.
You can find the real F3X plugin here:
Building Tools by F3X
And the real Part To Terrain here:
Github link for Part to Terrain can be found here
GitHub - mkargus/PartToTerrain: Roblox plugin that allows parts to turn into terrain.
Remember to check who uploaded the plugin, if they’re uploaded by an account that looks new, don’t trust it.
That’s a really easy fix
On your keyboard press Ctrl + Shift + F it will open up like a tab on the left side of your studio. Then click on the search bar and type require() and press enter it will show the script associate with require() if it doesn’t belongs to you delete the script. It might be a virus that is duplicating everytime you run the game. Also make sure you check the User that made the plugin like F3X Building tool before installing it. Otherwise they would have access to your studio or maybe worst damage your game.
I also would confirm that the Roundify plugin is actually owned by Stelrex - Roblox (Click on the name in the Plugins Manager, it’ll take you to the profile OR group of the users name)
I don’t recall Roundify requiring permissions to edit scripts, so that’s why I’m asking.
I may be wrong, but always good to double check!
If it’s a group of the users name, delete that plugin and install the real one here: Roundify - Roblox
That is a backdoor script. remove it
