unknown+DN error

Hello! So i don’t know but i might get banned on roblox? I joined my alt account and wanted to join my main account back but i got the error message “An unknown error occurred. Please try again.”,

my friends checked my ROBLOX account and this was normal, then i joined my place to rewrite some bad scripts and when i pressed play i got a kick error “You was banned from this game.”,
then after few minutes i joined again and my nickname was “unknown+DN” and userId was 0,

So i don’t know how to fix this error, i tried to check this error on DevForum and also YouTube but there’s no one fixed it.

Similar thing happened to me.
Maybe because of network error, as you are not banned.

Tips: Model name is “unknown” and RunService:IsStudio still works.

Login issue fixed, but unknown+DN error still making problems in studio.
(DN means DisplayNickname so display nick is “unknown+DN” and default nick is “unknown”)

Cache issue ones again, roblox cant retrive your data so it just errors

I’m having this issue too actually, even though this is in the wrong section. I created a website bug for it since I’m not the only one having this issue:

Turns out its a cookie issue, if you clear your cookies, you should be able to log back in. It was weird that it happened for the OP and I at the same time.

Try creating a new account and log out and try logging in your account after. It worked for me.

The unknown+DN error is only a visual glitch, it isn’t much of an issue.

It’s most likely just a bug on Roblox, if you got banned it would give you a message when you logged in.
