Unlocking/Capping Framerate; any in-engine tools?

I’m just wondering if there are any alternatives to the FPS unlocker on github, I’ve noticed a fairly severe bug in my game associated with frame deltas and would like to test this further.

There are currently no settings within the Roblox & Studio client/program to change the Frames Per Second.

Using 3rd party programs like the github one is the only solution.

Be careful with this, though. Some people have been reporting getting terminated for exploiting by using it because of the dll it injects.

I can’t speak from experience for using it over the past few months, but it is a general risk of using any sort of exploit.
Roblox has fixed the last bug that I know with unlocked frame rates (the speed of Motor6Ds being linked to the frame rate), so it is something Roblox can theoretically do. It does require extra validation to do so, since 60hz, 75hz, 90hz, 120hz, 144hz, 165hz, and 240hz are all common enough to validate.

It would be amazingly useful if something like this was added into studio, I’ve discovered bugs with my game due to low/high framerates already, and have done so in the past. Having something like this built in would be really useful.
