“Juqe! What the heck is Untitled Gun Project and why are you working on it?”
When I started on roblox in around 2013 I always wanted to join a military group but being a young wee lad I felt very intimidated by all the rules, I just wanted to have a good time. Still never got around to joining one because I still don’t like how they’re operated, it’s all basically a power trip. So I figured I’d make my own. A group where provided you’re nice to others and can shoot well and communicate the bare minimum then you’re more than welcome to join and have fun. No robux needed. (At least until I can no longer fund the group myself.)
Development Status: On hold - working on other projects. As much as I’d like to spend more time on this, I’m broke and I don’t intend on making any money off this.
To-do list
Current stage of progress is essentially a proof of concept. Don’t expect anything playable soon
Hitreg is sorta no bueno rn will have to figure out a solution
- Replace placeholder SMG
- Add a sniper
- Add a pump action shotgun (There isn’t even a shotgun at all anymore)
- Buy a tacticool outfit so I can feel like a big man while I’m testing guns
- Improve on shooting range (Will now be making a whole new one.) sorta done?
- Add rooms with targets inside (for room clearing and things like that) also sorta done?
- Test PVP (Honestly I should’ve done this earlier but I’m lazy)
- Make a DMR
- Commission somebody to make lasers (Kind of pointless to be honest.) I did NV instead.
- Commission somebody to make a rangefinder for snipers (SCRAPPED)
- ^Adjust bullet drop to correspond to scope markings (probably not easy) (SCRAPPED)
- Better firing sound for MARS-L

First Major Update!
Player is now able to crouch, currently bound to C key. Not sure why I’m unable to set it to left control but no big deal I guess? Player is unable to move while crouching.
Currently playing with the idea of going fully prone but in my experience the player tends to slide around a bit, probably not worth implementing.
Sound Update
Bullet impact sounds have been updated. Body impact sound is good, ground impact sound needs some work.
New Gun!
MacMillan CS-5 Has been added. It’s beautiful, I know 1 Shot kill to head. 2 Shots anywhere else. Bullet drop and custom scope coming soon. (Maybe possibly)
Better Animations! (Finally!)

Down but not out
So basically what I gotta do is add the guns again in an updated version of the gun engine. I’m not sure what I messed up here but it ain’t no thang. Maybe even a good opportunity to push through some updates? (Bullet hit sounds)
Update added some new things too - select fire, isn’t essential but oh boy it’s cool and I’m very happy to have it. I will not be adding burst fire I hate burst fire >:(
Balancing changes
Experimenting with damage drop-off and accuracy.
- Everything except the sniper rifle isn’t very accurate at a long range but I feel it’s enough to still be able to land shots here and there.

Suppression? Bullet impacts around you are very loud and scary, don’t wanna get shot innit
- I have decided to scrap bullet drop for now. Instead I’ll balance the sniper rifles by giving the bullets travel time because they’re 100% accurate. Other guns are basically hitscan for now.
MARS-L can pretty reliably hit shots at 500-600 studs, pretty ebic

3/03/2021 - Camo Suit
Looks pretty epic, sort of functional.
As you can see, I’m also messing around with prone animations. Will probably be removed because it gets overridden by the firing and aiming animations. So I’ll probably just add hills or something so the camo can still work. Fully functional camo isn’t really feasible with blocky characters anyway.
Edit: Prone is gone, not worth the trouble for now.
New Gun - M1919 Browning machine gun
Hasn’t been set up with the gun engine yet and I need to find some sick sound effects. I think ammo capacity is 250 rounds?
Scaled up a bit because big gun = cool
6/03/2021 - Haven’t updated for a few days
Got a crunchyroll subscription and now I’m kinda hooked.
Anyway not much new today, we have a sandbag model now and I’m trying to learn a bit of scripting but it’s so confusing I don’t know how people can do it :((

The M1919 has been added but it’s really annoying because I can’t figure out how to disable the sprint script while it’s equipped so if you hit shift you just start sliding around moving

My pc has been fixed. I think I lost most of not all of my blender files but here’s a neat screenshot
The M1919 is still in the game but I’m probably gonna replace it with something that doesn’t require a complete rework of the sprint system.
Thinking about ideas for a new map - maybe an oil rig or something. That’ll be a while off though, I have a few commissions I gotta finish up.
New gun dropped bois
“veterinary” Pistol
We’re long overdue for a new gun, still in the process of balancing and animating but it’s pretty awesome as is. Only has 10 bullets - might even reduce that later to 5.
Also I recorded the reload/rechambering (I sorta mixed them into one just for gameplay simplicity) sound myself using some antique coin cases and a laser pointer so I’m quite proud of myself there.
14/04/2021 - Suppressed guns and tracers
- Added DWX/S (Suppressed not sarcasm)
- Added MARS-L/S
Most suppressed weapons are now tracerless (The sniper isn’t because I think that would be super annoying)
All other guns are probably gonna have red tracers from now, they look neat. At the moment there’s actually more suppressed guns than standard.

Le epic fail
So I’ve been experimenting with armor a bit, hence the title.
I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s more trouble than it’s worth to come up with a good system so what I’ll just do is increase player hp according to the armor they’re using I’m just not sure how I’m going to balance that because I don’t want it to impact walkspeed.
Armor as a whole might just be unnecessary I mean sure it looks cool but I sorta want the direction of the game to be more about mastering your weapons and clever tactics instead of having some walking tank ruin your day, ya know? So IF I do add armor, purely cosmetic.
Also, I’m thinking about adding the KAC ChainSAW, it would be pretty freakin epic
23/04/2021 - KAC Chainsaw
Here it is lads ( I’m not sure anybody actually reads this but whatever it’s more of a development diary anyway.)
I bought hardops today and made this to test it. To be honest, so far I’m not too pleased with it but I’m sure it’ll speed up my workflow a lot as I get used to it and learn more about its capabilities, I only used it for fairly simple booleans.
Anyway I gotta export this all now and then animate it, what a pain. I’ve already found a good firing sound though so that’s epic.
Night vision and flashlights, we got em
well, the flashlights are mostly functional… NV basically outperforms it in every way anyway so they might not stick around for long. I thought I was gonna have to commission somebody to make this for me but I’m poor so gotta make do ya know?
Another great thing about night vision: Works perfectly(?) on every graphics level unlike the flashlight which looks like a complete dumpster fire below graphics lvl 5
Another small update
Still busy smh - added explosives. I intend for them to be more for objective use (i.e. destroy AA) but I’ve demonstrated here just with door breaching, it’s pretty cool I reckon. When I get the chance I’ll make a proper model and everything.
