Unusually high ping spikes on Roblox only

I got a new laptop in late November 2024, and at first Roblox seemed to have no issues. However, about a week into using it, I have been getting very high ping spikes in Roblox. This has only been happening in Roblox, and literally no other game. Plus, some experiences in Roblox don’t have this ping issue, but the majority of other games do. It has been very bothering and everything that I’ve tried just seems to have no effect. My ping usually lags for 3-10 seconds and goes up to 1k-5k.

I have tried:
-Uninstalling & Reinstalling Roblox
-Restarting my router
-Restarting my network adapter
-Clearing DNS cache
-Network reset

This problem is not present on some other devices I have like mobile phones and other laptops. My wifi speed is around 100-120 mbps, so I don’t think my wifi should be an issue.

Have you tried creating a different user profile on your laptop. And downloading Roblox th that user and see if there is a difference there.

(I guessing this is running Windows 11?)

I am running Windows 11. I tried this and so far it seems to have fixed the issue for about a day and then it started spiking again.

Is anyone else experiencing this (other than OP and myself)?

This has been happening increasingly frequently for the past few months, starting earliest in September. I have tried several of OP’s potential solutions, to no avail, and unlike OP, this problem is persistent across multiple devices (laptop, mobile, multiple PCs).

My internet speed is ~580 mbps and is currently all hardwired. It could be my internet, considering that I have also experienced instances of high internet lag while browsing websites or typing something up on something like Google Docs (will oftentimes say that I am disconnected from the internet) but I seem to notice it occur predominantly on Roblox.

What’s the exact Windows version you on Windows 11 24 H2?

Also could it be battery saver mode causing this?

I have friends that have this issue too and I had it when I got my laptop.

For me it was my firewall for some reason was doing it and I had to disable my firewall.
