Upcoming Portal inspired game, "Virtuality"

What is Virtuality?
Virtuality is a puzzle game heavily inspired by Valve’s “Portal” series. Virtuality is currently being worked on by solely myself, so any amount of support would be appreciated. Whether it be sharing it around, joining the discord or even donating- these are all things that can help boost the progression of development.

Notice:
The story aspect of the game is no where near complete, however, a tech demo is scheduled to be released in the near future–featuring; full portal and gel functionality, a few devtest levels and a level editor.

Thanks for reading! (Feedback on the clip/s provided would be very helpful!)

Wow! Looks awesome! Definitely going to play the demo! Also, just curious, do the portals show players standing on the other side too? And how does it show what’s on the other side of the portal?

you can join the discord linked in the post to get notified about every update !

its only a singleplayer game, however i may script a seperate multiplayer engine for a multiplayer playground

however, yes, in single player it does infact render the player through the portals. how rendering works tho is a secret  , join the discord to get notified when the demo releases!

I guess you probably started off from ViewportFrames using Egomoose’s renderer. I actually did one of these games myself, a long time ago.

hahah yeah the rendering is custom scripted by myself, however, the portal camera positioning is a modified version of egomoose’s

At first, I thought that this was not Roblox, but I thought it was a second game, but when I saw the Roblox logo from above, I said it was installed in the program, but when I focused on the logo, it turned out that it was a real Roblox, not a fake Roblox

Please do not use the devforum to advertise

He’s asking for feedback on the game, though.

Where do you see him asking for feedback?

Sorry if it isnt clear, I am infact also wanting feedback on the current clip that i have provided

I understand that you are seeking feedback on your game but using the devforum for advertising and soliciting donations is still not appropriate. I would also like to remind you that using the devforum for advertising could lead to the post being removed. I suggest using alternative platforms to advertise the game.

i understand, however im going to leave the post up due to also having the intention on receiving feedback on it

One could definitely consider it advertising, but how do you get feedback otherwise? He didn’t even directly link the game, but I found it through the donation gamepass he linked.

indeed just nitpicking topics just to get attention…

I dont see a problem here. If the game is good, why not give it a donation. Ive seen multiple topics about donating to developers.
