I made most of the badges for my game about 2+ years ago, and back then I wasn’t as good for generating badge art, or any kind of art really.

Now that I have so many creative ideas for replacing my badges with better images, I’m not able to change it unless I stop awarding the old badges and add new ones (Old badges would still remain in badge list).

What I’m asking for is to be able to update existing badges with new images so that I can present my games in a more professional manner rather than something I spewed out of Microsoft Paint.

Bump, I strongly feel this needs to be looked into as it is one of the weakest areas for games.

Plus, what if you accidentally upload the wrong image? Sure you get a preview, but what if it was the wrong revision?
You’d be unable to edit it, and have to move your game to another place assuming its not popular. If it is, then damn.

They should let us update game pass images aswell. :smiley:

I think if we get this have the Moderation team to approve this change (ex: Not have a pass that says “ADMIN 9000 ROBUX” on it not become a tip jar with the game pass named tips).
Same for badges (ex: Not have a badge go from “Complete stage 500!” image to a “Welcome to my game” image).

We’ve been over this on every other thread regarding this. There’s no need to moderate them specially just because people can change the image. We have full control over our games and regardless of what the badge/gamepass says we can do whatever we want. Even if our game pass said “Gravity coil 500 Robux”, we could remove the gravity coil and we just scammed everyone who bought it. You don’t need to change the image to scam people, and the number of people who would scam that way is minimal because there are tons of better ways to scam people.

Yes, I would love this. I’m hesitant to make badges and passes for my projects in early development, because the style I want could easily change.

IMO they should let us update images in general, I get sick of having to upload updated images then changing the asset URL on each affected ImageLabel/etc.

i think this would be good for decals and gamepasses, to be able to change the image, but for badges this would be abused and people would try to make a different badge without paying the 100r$. moderators have more important things to do with their time, rather than spending it trying to discern if a badge is just simply being updated or if the uploader is trying to make a new badge for free.

I have given up on requests about gamepasses and decals/badges…
They always get’s turned down.

Though i do support for changing.

Support for changing more than just badge images such as gamepass images too would be nice.
I’m actually nearing an encounter with this problem as I am undergoing a change in design for my game.

I’ll be replacing Points with Tokens but this would still be showing points, and when the user gets prompted to buy the gamepass in the future I have slight concern that they would think it’s a scam.
