Roblox said that this update would be temporary but we didn’t get any word on when audios can be made public.
They were also going to post another follow up over their long term plans for asset privacy…it has almost been 3 months…
This post has been getting a lot of traffic these days. It might contribute to us remembering that audio may need to become public one day. But still we haven’t got any word from any staff.
At this point it seems obvious that the changes were rushed for the purpose of saving money, but I really hope we can get a follow-up soon.
2000 audios per 30 days? I have the Roblox Premium 450 subscription, are you using a higher tier such as Premium 1000 or more?
I don’t think it’s that. Probably it’s just a visual bug.
I have Premium 2200 and I have 10 per month (I’m not ID verified and I have never DevEx’d before).
Homie, if I could upload more than 10 sounds a month I wouldn’t be making a post complaining about this now would I? Ive heard a ID verified people got 2000 sound slots, but I don’t have a photo ID, so im out of luck there.
Actually, ID verified developers get 100 slots a month
Guys I’m having a big issue here
I’m trying to use my testing asset alt to grant access for audio for one of my games, and when I saved it, NOTHING IS HAPPENING
And “provide Access” got replaced by “Add to List” SO HOW DO I SOLVE THIS ISSUE?!
The “Add to list” button should do the same thing, though it may appear Roblox is way more focused on other things besides the broken audio system.
Okay, so to get 2000 I have to sacrifice my first born child to roblox then?
Think about this. It took a week for Roblox to make this first follow-up and now it has been almost three months since this thread was posted, and still not another response regarding their long term plans like they promised.
Are they lying to us?
I believe Roblox stated that the upload limit difference would be experimental, but I don’t have any official answer for who received the 2000 per month upload limit.
Why do I only have 10 uploads per 30 days?
please read the entire post before posting this.
It looks like searching for audios has finally been solved! I can look up the exact names of audio again.
That’s nice, though I wonder if it will break again soon.
