Issues
I had some issues with blender, and it shades stuff weird. I have stuff everything Mark Sharp and I turned off the normals and it still shades stuff, does anyone know why?
At least I got some more stuff built

i don’t have anyidea how you made it and i don’t know how much time you spend on it
and i don’t see anything wrong keep going
only this place is keep annoying me… they are not the same size
Haha! Thank you
It’s supposed to be like that! It’s supposed to look like it was crafted together with paper and glue!
Looks great!
My only suggestion is to make the windows on the outside a different color. The windows on the inside contrast the wall nicely, but the windows on the outside seem to blend in with the wall coloring.
I might know what the problem is.
As you can see in the second image on the right, there is an arch that appears to have a smooth shading modifier.
This is most likely due to the mesh having the Performance RenderFidelity, set it to Precise and see if that fixes your issue!
Otherwise, this looks really nice, and I’m excited to see what else you come up with!
I had them blue to begin with, but I thought maybe the orange could be like a light inside, but you’re right, the blue looked better on the outside. Thank you!
Thank you for the compliment, I’m trying my hardest and I’ll be posting all my progress here!
Thank you for the tip on the issue about the shading, sadly it didn’t work but I very much appreciate the help!
Try this with your mesh in Blender:
Select all Vertices.
In Edit mode go to the Mesh tab > Clean up > Merge by distance. This should clean up overlapping vertices that are doubled up. You may have to open the little window that appears and increase the distance from .0001 to .005 or so in case the Vertices aren’t in the exact same position.
Select all faces.
In Edit mode go to the Mesh tab > Normals > Smooth Vectors.
Now do the same thing but use > Reset Vectors.
I know sometimes the edges of faces don’t always have the Normals pointed the correct direction which affects shading.
I will have to give this a shot when I can! Thank you so much for the advice, I greatly appreciate it!
