[UPDATED] Feedback on Modern Homestore

Hello, I’m Dev and I’m a builder

Today I made a modern Homestore and this will be my first post.

I went with a simple yet eyecatching design (atleast for me it is) I wanted to share my build and get ideas from other builders and developers, I’m looking forward in the future to sell this build.

Thanks!

I finished the Interior! and added some other changes!

Looks nice! I tried doing homestore some time ago. It was nothing compared to this. Good job!

Dang nice! Might wanna mix up the colors in the interior, like a wooden floor. Other than that, amazing!

Thanks! I’ll do that the next time I hop on studio.

Thanks! I appreciate your feedback!

Wow! I love the font, but maybe add a little color. Possibly add some floors, and make it generally colorful. Also, I don’t understand the window floor part on the second floor. It would make sense on the top of the building, but not on the floor. Someone could fall through lol. Overall amazing build.

I see, I wanted to do something like that on the roof so originally It was going to be only one floor, I’ll move it to the roof, Thanks!

It feels like the size of each part is the same in the building maybe it will look better if you twist the size of some parts bigger, not quite sure how I could explain it but overall great work!

Looking forward to your interior update in this build!

I don’t undertsand what you mean but I kinda do? I’ll see what I could do, Thanks!

It looks good overall, however, there are some things I would defiantly change. The concrete texture rarely looks good for interiors, so I would go with a better wall texture such as smooth plastic or even actual textures that you can upload. Each different part, (wall, ceiling, floor) should usually be a different texture and or color. For where the homestore sign is I would defiantly put windows on both the first and second floor.

Hope I helped

I think it looks great! I feel like there needs to be a wood floor but its completely up to you.

Thanks! I’ll add glass on the first floor but not on second floor, I’ll think about it.

Yeah, I was thinking about it when I was building it, Thanks!

I like this theme, but it’s just not something that is very eye-appealing in the Modern Homestore genre. I’d recommend using some bright colors that aren’t dark. You should also consider using part materials and settings such as Smooth Plastic, Neon, Metal, and Reflectance to give it a modern feel to it.

Here’s an image of one of my commissions to give you an idea!

to those viewing, please do not repost this as your own.

I would change the material of the interior, nobody wants to visit a fully-concrete homestore with no texture to it.

I already changed the interior a bit so by the time I replied to you the build does not look like the one provided by the images.

I see, but not all Modern buildings are bright colours, the theme I wanted is to go with dark colours such as gray or black, with white accent, about the part materials you said, I already changed the building from full concrete, so the floors are now wooden with neon accent, Thanks for your feedback, I’ll update the post asap with the current status of the building.

This looks pretty nice! I think it’s looking great from the screenshots you have. I just think that the color scheme on the outside is a bit bland, but that might be what you’re going for. Overall I think it’s looking pretty nice. Hope to see the interior when it’s complete.

Thanks! I already planed the interior in my head so I think It’ll look good. I wanted to go with a simple design anyway.
