[UPDATED] WIP Office Showcase

Hello Developers,

For almost a year now, I have been working on an office showcase. It wasn’t supposed to be a constantly-worked on project, but more of a “if I have the mood to work on it, I will”, and here I am 1 year after I have started working on the place.

What I’m trying to achieve with this? - I’m attempting to show off my work and skill for other people to see and grow in the Roblox Community overall.

I’m also trying to improve myself in something I enjoy doing, which in this case is building.

I am gonna leave two places here, in which you will be able to see, where I have started with that office, and where I ended up today with it. So in simple words; I’m linking you two places. The first one will show you what I have started off with in the early stages of the showcase. The second one is gonna show you where I am today, and how much I have improved it.

That is why I am looking for:

  • Suggestions
  • Feedback
  • General comments on the place

And I would also like some feedback on the future lighting that I use in my place, specifically:

  • Does the game lag for you?
  • Does it look decent, or does it need changes?

OLD game: (Crash's Office - Roblox)

NEW game: ([SHOWCASE] Crash's Office - Roblox)

I am gonna leave a poll here, if you have any other comments on the place, please let me know!

Has the office, and with that my skill improved?
  • Yes
  • No

Thank you for reading, and take care!

Sincerely,

P.S: To clear up the confusion on the RDC19 Lanyard - I used it to credit the developers who have worked in the game, and since I was and still am passionate for RDC, I used @Jazzyx3’s Lanyard back then as a reference, since I thought it’d be creative. Keep in mind that I did not participate in RDC19

some recommendations (ill start from the bottom to the top of the office):

The stairs themselves need some work. they look fine however you need some rails to keep the player from falling.(Also to immerse the player, its all about the smallest details.)

The other floors just look like a tiny room compared to the third floor. I would either black out the windows entirely or make the other two floors look like a long hallway.(doesnt have to be detailed since its not being used.)

The hallway is detailed but it kind of feels empty since there isn’t much of anything except for some bean bags and some drawings.

Left room:
The room feels like its actually lived in. It shows a lot about the person and their personality, interests, hobbies, etc.

-make the rainbow flag more creased otherwise it kinda just looks like a png image.

overall the room is very detailed and good looking with a good color scheme going.

the outside it very detailed, its so amazing it actually made me woah. Again the details keep me from getting bored and I’m motivated to keep exploring.

The office also shows a lot about whos working there. its amazingly detailed just like everything else in this showcase.

Again, I couldn’t find much you could improve on but I can see you spent a lot of time and effort on it.

Hey again @AceofspadesVI6!

I appreciate the feedback on both of my places again, and want to ask you about one thing.

What else would you add for the hallway, do you have any ideas?

Maybe add a carpet, there’s lots of pictures on google, so maybe search for references there. But Honestly add anything but make sure it doesn’t interfere with walking down the hallway.
