"Updates" category missing the "New" tab

I’ve had this, log out, close the tab, open it and log back in. This fixed it for me.

Possibly, but I still have no idea why it hides on my client.

I can also confirm this on mobile. Strange.

AFAIK this is because the https://devforum.roblox.com/c/updates/45 category is sorted by topic creation date rather than last activity, so a New tab is superfluous because all the new topics will already be at the top of the category’s home page.
