Uploading Meshes?

Hi just enquiring is there a way to upload a Mesh asset under a group? If so how would I do it as I’m unable to find any buttons that’d allow an action?

Yes, you can upload a mesh asset under a group in Roblox. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open Roblox Studio and navigate to the “Explorer” panel on the right-hand side of the screen.
  2. Expand the “Workspace” folder in the “Explorer” panel.
  3. Right-click on the group under which you want to upload the mesh asset. Select “Insert Object” from the context menu.
  4. In the dialog box that appears, search for and select the “MeshPart” object. Click the “Insert” button.
  5. A new MeshPart object will be added under your group in the “Explorer” panel.
  6. With the MeshPart selected, you can customize its properties in the “Properties” panel. You can set the mesh asset you want to upload by specifying its “MeshId” property.
  7. To upload the actual mesh asset, you need to use Roblox’s website. Open your web browser and go to the Roblox website (www.roblox.com).
  8. Log in to your Roblox account.
  9. Click on the “Create” tab at the top of the page, then select “Meshes” from the dropdown menu.
  10. On the Meshes page, click the “Choose File” button to browse your computer for the mesh asset file you want to upload.
  11. Select the mesh asset file and click the “Open” button to upload it.
  12. After the upload is complete, you will see a thumbnail preview of your mesh asset.
  13. Copy the “Asset ID” of the uploaded mesh asset. You can find the Asset ID in the URL of the mesh asset page or by right-clicking on the thumbnail and selecting “Copy Asset ID” from the context menu.
  14. Go back to Roblox Studio and paste the Asset ID into the “MeshId” property of the MeshPart object you added earlier.
  15. Once the MeshId property is set, the MeshPart will display the mesh asset you uploaded.

Although abit long winded to have to import it via the website?
Would it not be easier to have the ability to upload directly from the Mesh Viewer in Studio?

actually, you can create a MeshPart and in MeshId click the folder button and import the .obj or whatev
