Reproduction Steps
Go to create.roblox.com
Go to any experience(I was using a group game at the time, I do NOT own the group)
Hit Places on the left
Click the main place
Press Thumbnails
Select video
Link a YouTube video
Then you’ll get an error.
Expected Behavior
Deduct 500 Robux from my account and submit the video to display on the game page
Actual Behavior
An error saying “An unknown error occurred”.
In a seemingly random occurrence, which may be due to my Roblox extensions, I lost a lot of Robux.
Things to note
I use Roblox extensions such as BTRoblox, RoPro, and rbxfpsunlocker by axstin
Regardless, it still didn’t work without any extensions.
I do use a system level VPN at all times for personal privacy
First first time I tried this, Robux was not deducted from my account. The second time, I lost nearly 100k Robux.
I am currently in talk with Roblox’s email support about getting the Robux restored to my account, however, at this time I have not had any Robux restored.
This initially happened a few days ago and I do not have an image on hand of the error in my console.
Here is an image of a few of the 195 transactions taking a total of 97,500 Robux from my account.
Worth noting that if you haven’t already you should always disable extensions and / or other things that may be causing the bug that Roblox cannot control before reporting a bug.
Hi there, does this error happen randomly? If it does, please pull up the console logs when it happens again. This information will be helpful in triaging and resolution.
Hiya, it looks like there are issues with the YouTube video’s title and description. Fixing this should resolve the issue and we’re looking into improving messaging.
Please let me know if there are outstanding refunds required from this errors.
The fact that Robux is being taken for filtered videos in the first place is concerning, if something errors (whether it’s my fault or not) I expect to not be charged
I’m unsure if I had this error specifically when I lost nearly 100k, but I am still down 100k as of writing this.
Every transaction “Purchased YouTubeMediaItem” from Roblox between 12/13/22 7:33 PM CST until 12/13/22 7:51 PM CST
In total it’s 195 transactions each costing 500 robux.
I’ve attached an image showing just a few of the 195 transactions.
The total amount of Robux I need restored is 97,500 if I calculated it correctly.

I also had a ticket with Roblox’s email support to get the Robux restored, but that went nowhere and I have heard nothing from them in over 7 days.
