User reporting system

I’m aware about the Roblox report user system but you know… ROBLOX doesn’t read reports so I wanted to ask if there is a way to report Dev fourm users instead of just comments?

In a recentish focus group I was in for the forums I briefly spoke about the major stigma that the report feature and mod team for it seem to be useless, but I think that could be elaborated upon if not already done so on another post.

Are you asking if you could, or should report players from the website on the forums instead of using the report feature on the website, or report users on the forums because of their forum actions?

Sadly there isn’t a user report system in place on the devforum, as you stated the only possible way to report is by flagging their post or reply. I think having a user report system placed into the devforum is a great idea, rather than just having old plain flagging which only deals with the user you reported’s post or reply. I think another possible way to report someone is by going to a staff members account and messaging them through devforum, not sure if they will help though, they would probably say something like “Report someone by flagging their post”.

Yes they do. There’s just a lot of catches.

If a forum member is breaking rules on the forum, please flag their post.

If a forum member is breaking rules off the forum, please use the Report Form. The DevForum is not a substitute for Report Abuse.

Normally, the only place people can break forum rules on the forum is through the posts and replies they make, which have a flag button.

If you instead see that someone has rule-breaking content in their bio or elsewhere on their forum profile, feel free to send a link to the user to the DevEngagementTeam group explaining your concern.

Please do not use forum flags as a substitute to Report Abuse on the website. The flagging feature here is for forum rule violations, not TOS violations on the roblox.com website, and the people handling flags won’t be able to address rule violations on the roblox.com website. Use Report Abuse for that.
