Is it feasible to utilize music that is protected by copyright, but instead of the original performance, use a cover version? For instance, the iconic theme from the film Halloween can be effectively played on a piano, maintaining the original ambiance.

You could check if it’s still possible by uploading the video to YouTube and seeing if it gets copyrighted.
But I doubt it would if it’s a cover.

Every song you’re uploading to Roblox must be either owned by you or have a license which allows you to upload a copyrighted material. Covers or parodies NEED to be licensed before uploading.
For copyright detection Roblox utilities Audible Magic which is an audio finger print database.
