Hey guys, my friend wants to make a racing game but wants to use cars from other games e.g. madcity, he does’t know how to make the models in blender and doesn’t want to hire other people as its too expensive. Is it wrong for him to take cars from madcity and use them, will his game get shut down for using other models.

Content that was made specifically for a group or game is considered the IP of the owner(s) of that game.
If they used free models or free assets then you can use those. However, if they purchased content on the unityassetstore or other 3D model marketplaces, they have purchased a license to use those models. He either has to use free assets or purchase his own assets.
no. people use other models all the time, so, what i know at least, nope, not at all
so what would happen if he uses the stuff from anothher game

Using other people’s items that aren’t specifically made free (by them) in the toolbox is pretty low.
