USSF - JSOC - Rulebook
Table of Contents
1. Attire
- Wear the JSOC uniform to all USSF event/places.
- Do not wear ANY body morphs during USSF events.
- While offline, wear proper attire. Do not represent JSOC in an immature way.
2. Behavior
- Listen to commands from higher ranks.
- NEVER disrespect a HR. Even if he/she is wrong, show respect or risk demotion.
- Higher-ranking personnel must be referred to as “Sir” or “Ma’am” on duty.
- In order to achieve a successful future in this branch, all of our members must show true commitment and dedication to the branch. Cooperation is essential to make it possible.
- Do not be toxic. Acting in a toxic way is not tolerated regardless of how skilled you are and will be punished instantly for toxic behaviour.
- Respect not just those above, but those below you. Respect is something that brings us all together more than just a community: we are a family. We are all united, so we should all treat each other as if our lives depended on it. Show respect to your fellow USSF comrades. Going around starting arguments and making grudges between your fellow soldiers will NEVER be tolerated. This shows immaturity and brings a negative charisma which is not needed.
3. Activity
- Patrol the FOB often and report any distress calls.
- Be active and at events often unless excused.
- An inactive soldier who no longer seems to care for the group CAN and WILL be demoted or even exiled, regardless of the rank unless an inactivity form is submitted.
- If going inactive, submit the Google Form found in the Trello.
4. Communication
- Do NOT be overly crazy, or spam on the Skype and Discord chats. In addition, do not add non USSF or non-JSOC in their respective chats.
- It is required to speak in Teamchat at raids and defenses. Use teamchat to coordinate and communicate. Speaking out of team chat for flaming or anything against the rules is forbidden.
- The use of faces is highly limited and prohibited. Faces such as “xD”, “:)”, “:D”, “:3” are good examples of those that are banned.
- Grammar and punctuation. This cannot be stressed enough as well. It is expected that one is to present themselves well on all aspects, including that of speaking. Full grammar and punctuation is expected to be used when on-duty. Full stops, capital letters, commas, etc, fall into this category. You are also required to spell to the best of your ability, so that there are less miss-communications.
- Never use all caps. It shows immaturity and impatience. Remain calm and collected. The only exception to this rule is HRs trying to make their orders clear, and unmissable.
- No flaming on duty. Flaming shows insecurity, and can incite further arguments. If needed, let an HR take care of an offender on the other team.
- Use of the USSF JSOC Discord is required.
Miscellaneous
- Do not hack or exploit, enough said.
- Be mature on duty, this is very important. It is understood that there are many ways to define maturity; nevertheless, we look at immaturity as whether one is not behaving in an appropriate manner depending on the situation. Messing around excessively during a training, and messing around at all during an external event like a Raid or Defense will not be tolerated. We are expected to be the best of the best, so act like it.
- If you are required to leave a raid, training, defense, etc., for real-life reasons, or you happen to disconnect, you MUST let the Commanding Officer of your server know.
