Im trying to render this can with this image on the can, however when I UV unwrap, I get this mess of different verticies and it looks nothing like how the roblox decal looks, when adding the roblox decal to the can in blender, it gets chopped up and spread around as if it were a rubix cube, please help, I dont know what Im doing wrong, no other Unwrap will work either. I simply just want to get the unwrap to fit the decal, the exact decal that is used on the can in the Catalog.
im trying to create my own images for the can but in order to do that the image needs to match the uv unwrap
Exactly, I did that and made the image below, and then uploaded it to the drink in blender, and got that chopped up texture result
Unwrapping should make the can align to the texture, but it looks like this
That has no UV map at all, re-import the model from Roblox and change the texture in the Shading tab
Somewhere along this process you are doing something very very wrong at the baseline level and I can’t help you because I don’t know what it is—this is a result of user error and not a random bug, you’re either not following the instructions properly or not transferring models correctly between Blender and Roblox Studio
ive never had this issue, its the model itself
I reset my blender, it must have been user error, my apologies
i literary exported from roblox to blender and when i imported the .obj to blender, i dont even needed to retarget texture img our uv.
you dont need to do nothing when you export from roblox to blender.
it aready came everything setup.

yeah I think I had messed with some setting on accident in the older studio, I did what you said earlier and thats when it worked
