What is actual point? If I need to draw or demonstrate, I do this:
win + r → mspaint

But great job.

(you should make it, so only plugin users can see it. someone can abuse this)

You’re assuming everyone is running Windows (or any OS with integrated drawing tools). OP also mentioned that this replicates to other developers in team create. While there are always alternate methods (e.g., taking a screenshot and sending it over a third party platform every time), I think there’s plenty of reasons why one might prefer an integrated plugin.

Does that mean it puts the drawing in StarterGui? This could be invasive for the game itself if they playtest with drawing enabled.

Mac users and Linux users don’t have that.

When the host just close the plugin the canvas become hidden this mean it’s not gonna damage the game teating

GIMP or Krita in that case then? Maybe some other options too.

The point of using this sharing your drawings to other team create members .

Would it not act the same as any other paint program? You can export as PNG, JPEG, etc. Doesn’t seem like much of a difference to me unless there is a plugin that is specific to mspaint.

Btw plugin works great! Nice job! I’ll definitely see about using it when revamping a game with a friend of mine.

There is Alt+F2 which brings up a “Run a Command” dialog actually.

this is not a global thing and is not present everywhere, actually.

I cant get it since it says ‘‘I need Permission’’ to view it

True. You can only run it from the files or home screen. Custom keybinds would work though.

Yep you need a permission because This plugin using “CoreGui” for putting the drawing thing and roblox thinks my plugin is putting script. There is no risk .

what DE are u talking about doe? gnome?

Any DE technically (I think). I’ve seen in GNOME, KDE, and XFCE though as those are the main 3 I use.

what about WMs where u gotta do everything yourself?

In something like AwesomeWM or Hyprland, there are ways you can set keybinds through text files. I think we should probably take this conversation elsewhere so that this dev’s post isn’t derailed by this Linux talk.
