This Handbook goes over our community rules, promotions, frequently asked questions, ranks and their responsibilities, and more!

Rank Information

Each rank plays a different role in our group, each one with its significance.

Customer Ranks

Café Guest - Customer is the first rank in the group. They don’t have any duties or responsibilities, however they’re the reason the group is running. They can join the café and order from baristas, buy game passes, and apply for a job.

Noted Guest - This role is given to our former HRs, Developers, and members of the Ownership Team as a way to reward them for their notable contributions to our group. In addition, this role is given to our allied representatives.

Trainee - This role is given to Customers who have successfully passed our job application process. Trainees are considered junior staff members and may receive more severe consequences than customers if they break a rule. However, trainees are not allowed to work behind the counter, as they’d have to pass an official training session first.

LR Ranks

Junior Barista - Junior Barista is the first LR Rank. This role is given to Trainees who successfully pass a training session and have been trained to work behind a register. JBs are tasked with greeting & serving customers and handling disruptive customers.

Senior Barista - Senior Barista is the 2nd LR Rank. Senior Barista is obtained by attending & passing a training session as a Junior Barista. SBs have the same tasks as a Junior Barista, however, they can be thought of as role models for lower-ranked members.

Executive Barista - Executive Barista is the last LR Rank. It can be obtained by attending & passing a training session as a Senior Barista. This is the only eligible rank for MR promotions. To be promoted to Supervising Team, you must meet the requirements outlined in the Promotion Information section. Executive Baristas are role models for lower-ranked LRs.

MR Ranks

Supervising Team - Supervising Team is the first MR Rank. This rank can only be obtained by being promoted as an Executive Barista by an HR after having met the promotion requirements. MRs are trusted with Junior Administrator permissions to fulfill their duties, which include but are not limited to server-banning disruptive individuals, handling exploiters, and taking disciplinary action against staff members. This is also the first rank that may assist in a training session as a trainer. Lastly, Supervisors get some new duties in the Discord server, such as answering certain support tickets and warning rule breakers when needed.

Senior Supervising Team - Senior Supervising Team is the subsequent rank after Supervising Team and Supervisors will be awarded with it after a certain period. Senior Supervisors have the same tasks as Supervisors in-game, although they can now answer General Questions tickets in the Discord Server.

Management - Management is the rank right after Senior Supervising Team. Management can be thought of as a rank that requires more responsibility, as Managers can moderate the Discord server, by warning, kicking, ticket-banning, and server-banning rule breakers. Management is also the first rank that is granted ranking permissions which they may use to demote disruptive LRs. Furthermore, Managers can answer Discord Assistance Tickets. Their tasks in-game stay the same.

Senior Management - Senior Management is the last MR Rank. Senior Managers are eligible for HR promotions, however, these promotions take longer than any other as they need to prove that they’re ready to undertake an HR’s duties. Senior Managers work closely with the Staffing Department as they now can answer Appeals Tickets in the Discord Server. Senior Managers have the same tasks in-game as any other MR Rank. Lastly, they can be thought of as role models for lower-ranked staff members.

HR Ranks

Administration Team - Administration Team is the first HR Rank. This rank can be obtained by being promoted as a Senior Manager by a Board of Executives+. Upon being promoted to Administration Team, you will be inducted into either the Staffing or Public Relations Department. HRs have new responsibilities and tasks, such as handling permanent ban requests & staff reports, permanently banning or blacklisting individuals, managing MRs, reviewing appeals, answering HR Tickets, and more. They also receive Administrator permissions in-game. Additionally, this is the first rank that may host & oversee training sessions, and host shifts. Lastly, Administrators may promote LRs to Supervising Team and MRs to their next MR Rank.

Executive Assistant - Executive Assistant is the second HR Rank. They have about the same duties as an Administrator, however EAs are authorized to train newly-hired MRs. Additionally, EAs supervise and help new Administrators while they’re getting used to their new rank. Furthermore, usually upon becoming an Executive Assistant, they will become Overseers of their department.

Board of Executives - Board of Executives is the last HR Rank. They receive Senior Administrator permissions in-game. They oversee & manage both the MR and HR teams and they’re responsible for making sure that everyone is doing their job properly. They work closely with the Ownership Team and they usually have the final say in things. Moreover, they’re usually the directors of their department. A Board of Executives will be selected to replace the President if the current one decides to resign.

Ownership Ranks

President, Vice Chairman & Chairman - The Ownership Team is responsible for overseeing the group as a whole. They work closely with the HR Team to ensure everything is running smoothly and they develop all Valoraé games along with Junior & Head Developers by bringing new ideas to the table and fixing & improving the existing systems.
