If the only issue with items created years ago is their positioning on characters, I don’t think they need to be fixed. There are so many of these items, and I bet there are still some waiting to be discovered. Another point is that you can rotate, reposition, and even resize accessories in this category. So, why not just do that if you don’t like how they look now? Roblox literally released that update for this very reason, which is why I find it hard to understand.
When I wear a hat on the body type it was designed for, I expect it to work without any issues. There shouldn’t be an expectation that everyone who wants to wear these hats correctly should have to manually tune-in the right placement for these items. We’re already heavily restricted on how far we can adjust accessories, and now that’s being cut down further by having to account for weird clipping/offset issues? We can’t even use Accessory Adjustment on the web editor without third party tools.
Anyone who’s gotten invested into egg collecting understands that these things are important when making hat combos around eggs. Accessory Adjustment has made that easier, but it’s nice to work with items which are already properly positioned in the first place. A combo like Deviled Egg + Eggy Pop wouldn’t work if it weren’t for proper placement.
