For a while, my VC and Camera options in Communication settings didn’t show. I don’t know when this exactly happened, but I really never decided to bother with it as VC still continued as normally and I could disconnect and connect in-game. I’m just curious to why this occurred?
EDIT: I recently compared voice settings on an older website made for checking VC status with some friends. I realized that there are differences, such as isAvatarVideoEligible being set to false, and my seamlessVoiceStatus and variant being different. I’m not sure if that could be related, but I’m just adding that onto here. My Settings
This has been happening for me and I’ve sent two report quests asking about it, despite having it before they told me I am not eligible for whatever reason.
I’m not sure if there are any regional restrictions for voice chat in Texas, but I appreciate the response. I suppose I’ll continue waiting until it returns. Thank you.
What are the “regional differences”? The only thing I am aware of is that, some nations just require a phone number to use it, while others require ID verification, right?
Also, what is up with the camera option missing in some accounts? I don’t have it on my main (this one), however, I do have it on my other accounts and every new account that’s made have it too. Why so?
I’ve been waiting nearly 16½ months for the Camera Input to be rolled out to me after verifying my ID. I also have my phone and email verified too, and I still don’t have Camera Input showing up. My 11-year-old main account from 2014 somehow can’t have it, but my barely used alt. account (with no verification) can have both Voice Chat (I only have VC on my main account.) and Camera Input? What gives? My region is in Wisconsin, and I don’t know if that state has any regional restrictions for these features. Is there something else I’m missing other than verifying my ID, phone, and email, or is it bugged? It’s not normal to wait this long for one additional feature.
It’s been 6 months, and this is honestly way too long for a voice chat option. So far what I have seen is users in Texas have trouble accessing the option. Although, my alternate account has it.
Same here to be honest, ive had this issue for over a year by now and i had before on my main account thats 13+ and it just randomly disappeared out of nowhere.
