Verification Badge Broken

I have contributed to a game with 1M+ hours of playtime in the last 90 days and have 10K+ legitimate followers on Roblox. However, like many other developers, I have not received my badge. On the official FAQ page for the badge, it states Roblox auto verifies users every month but that has not been happening. It has been months since any creator has gotten verified.

Expected behavior

I expect a wave every month to allow all eligible creators to receive the badge or an application if Roblox is trying to precent exploiters as this is unfair to legitimate developers who did not buy the badge but worked hard to meet requirements only to have their progress fade past the 90 days period and not receive the badge in time. Please fix this Roblox

Pretty sure they’re reworking it from what I’ve read. I’ve been waiting since October.

As myself and many other users have explained to you (including the one above), they seem to be reworking the system and this temporary pause does seem intentional. However I guess a bug report wouldn’t hurt as it’s a little unprofessional to pause the system without public notice, especially when it goes against documented behavior.

I’m pretty sure the issue is from the following line. Some followers you have might have count as bot and didn’t count in your list.

As mentioned above the badge waves have been paused. Not sure what you’re trying to get at here.

this should be another reason why the badge isn’t received.

For good reason as well, too many scammers USD purchasing verified badges that they don’t deserve, then using them to scam others on the platform.

The overhaul was very much needed :muscle:

Bots are automatically removed. You can check all my followers are legit on my profile.

I was actually bout to get scammed by one. However, I think Roblox should have an application or announcement since so many developers are working for the badge only to find out its not obtainable anymore (like myself). I even asked Roblox support. It seems like the general public including support doesn’t know whats going on exactly. An update from Roblox would be nice.

Are you a UGC creator, game creator, or content creator? For game creators and UGC creators, it is especially unfair because our progress which accumulated within 90 days may disappear when they actually decide to update us about what is going on despite their own website saying we qualify for the badge.

im a game creator and am in the same boat as you and i see your frustration, it’s unfair for everyone but we have to just sit back and wait unfortunately

I have two Roblox Communities that surpassed the Verification Badge threshold selling UGC. However, both have still not been verified:
