Version history download window stops working

Reproduction Steps

Our game, Robloxian High School, has over 6,000 place versions. So whenever you want to go back in time to an old place from 5 years ago, you have to use this version history window.

Expected Behavior

I expect to be able to scroll to any year of place file history without getting stuck

Actual Behavior

In this screenshot, I got to the year 2020 before it completely stopped loading. The loading screen never went away and any versions after that never loaded.

I have the same issue and I am also affected by it. The moment when it decides to stop working also seems random.

I have this issue as well; I have tens of thousands of versions and I am unable to school down efficiently.

Hi!

Just providing an update on this, since we know this has been a pain point for a while.

In 2025 we plan on releasing Detailed Version History which will deprecate this current dialog and easily allow you to jump back to a date or version. Hope we can get this to you guys soon.
