I want my vest to wrap around the character like Roblox avatars’ vests do. Right now, it isn’t wrapping, but instead keeps its default size and ends up around the pants.
What I did:
I used the Accessory Fitting Tool to convert my vest into an accessory with the accessory type set to “Front”, and put a wrap layer inside the accessory handle and wrap target inside the “UpperTorso” and the order inside wraplayer was put to 6.
For the jacket to wrap correctly like official layered clothing, make sure your accessory has a WrapLayer inside the Handle, with WrapTarget set to "UpperTorso" and a proper Order value if layering. Also, the mesh (Handle) needs to be modeled and aligned to fit snugly around the torso—it shouldn’t be floating or scaled oddly. This only works on R15 avatars, so double-check that you’re using one, and ensure the character’s scaling isn’t too modified. If the mesh is misaligned or not designed for wrapping, it’ll just float around the waist or pants like you’re seeing. You can use Roblox’s Layered Clothing plugin to preview the wrap and fix issues. Try testing on a default R15 blocky avatar and tweak the alignment until it wraps properly!
