Voice Chat Verfication Problem

My current problem is that I can’t get voice chat in Roblox by verifying my phone in an eligible country.

The issue is that the only way I can verify voice chat is with a government document. Which I don’t want to do.

I have tried to find why this is occurring and why I can’t verify with a phone number for voice chat. And I found this website: https://voice.roblox.com/v1/settings

Which tells me which way I can get voice chat. It printed this :

What I have tried :

  • Verify with multiple phone number
  • Re-verifying my email

Other information :

  • I don’t use any VPN.
  • I am in Canada. which is an eligible country to verify with a phone number.
  • My alternative account are elligbe for Voice Chat but not my main account.

Have you tried ID Verifying your account? Using a phone number might not be available for everyone to unlock voice chat and you should have popups if you were

No, I haven’t tried to verify my account with my ID. Is our photo taken during the age verification stored in a safe place? And is it normal that my alternative accounts are eligible for voice chat with a phone number?

To my knowledge, yes Roblox takes a photo of your government information which in this case would be your full face and ID. However, the data is deleted after 30 days and is only used during verification. Check the age verified faq for more information regarding that

I believe Roblox tends to release features to only a specific % of users and sometimes restricted to certain countries. That means creating a few accounts will eventually have that specific feature enabled for your account. Many times you won’t have the feature eligible for your main account though

Okay, thanks for your help. I appreciate it. I guess I might wait for my account to be eligible for voice chat with a phone number, and if it takes too long, I will try to verify my age with ID.
