Does anybody know how to get VC by verifying phone number?
Step 1: Grab your phone
Step 2: Insert your phone number in settings
Step 3: An SMS will be sent to your phone, likely 6 digits - Insert that when asked
Step 4: When you see the ‘Verified’ tick by your number, head to the ‘Communication’ tab
Step 5: Slide the ‘Voice’ communication On!
And… Done! Please note, You may only use this in games which have VC enabled. Check their communication tab to find out!
It’s US, Canada and other countries only so far. If you’re like me in Czechia you probably won’t be able to get voice chat by phone number.
The voice chat is still beta in certain countries.
Perhaps to verify your age you will need either passport, driver’s license or government issued identification if you’re not located in countries like USA and Canada.

I mean I dont have my country as an option in the country code list.
And an in-game prompt to get VC with phone number appeared just recently for me.
Like @jeziskrista says, You may unfortunately only be able use VC if you’re in any of these countries:
United States, Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Mexico, Chile, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Uruguay, El Salvador, Honduras, Paraguay, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Bolivia, Venezuela, Panama, Portugal, and Brazil
Otherwise, you’ll need to verify via ID (If i’m correct, its via Stripe, a reputable payment handler)
Regarding that, Your account’s country might be wrong, with the prompt assuming you’re in a country with VC-by-phone enabled - I’d say to definitely update this as you might just be lucky enough to get up to 70% off items with regional pricing enabled!
To do this, head to Roblox → Settings (This link should take you there) → Scroll down until you see ‘Account Location’ (Refer to the image below) And update your location via the dropdown. If its just text, like on the image there, you’ll need to contact Roblox support to change your location again.

In that case, you have might been in a country that is supported. Or you used VPN. I have my VPN usually set in Miami, Florida, USA or Calgary, Alberta, Canada. So when i play on account that does not have voice chat, i also get that notification. However, you won’t be eligible to verify trough phone number because you obviously do not own US phone number.
In this case, you either need to verify by id, drivers license or passport.

No, your account can be whatever nationality, but it only appears when you’re in eligible country right now. Perhaps, if I’m from USA but live in Czechia, i won’t be able to verify through phone number.
That means, if I’m right now located in Czechia but have VPN, i can set it to USA and verify. (Basically i can’t because i don’t US phone number, but if i had i could.)
I’m talking about the account’s set location, not Physical (rather, virtual) location.
Even if I’m in somewhere like France (Either I moved or I’m using VPN), my account’s set location is the UK, so my payments would be made in Pounds.
Even if I’m physically (or virtually) inside countries like Pakistan, where Regional Pricing makes things cheaper, I still pay the 100% because my account’s location is set to the UK.
I do understand, however i thought you were talking about enabling voice chat feature. But yeah, you’re totally right here.
