VR breaks literally everything

Reproduction Steps

Get a VR headset doesn’t matter which one, plug it in, and turn on Roblox VR. Now unplug it and start the game again. It will go back to normal keyboard controls except the UI and stuff will still be in VR mode so pressing ESC makes the UI at UserCFrame head. But since were not in VR it’s just at 0,0,0. It breaks UI basically.

Expected Behavior

Without being in VR it should be acting like normal. The UI is 2D on screen and not a 2D UI in the 3D Universe.

Actual Behavior
It happens in any game until we turn VREnabled off in GlobalBasicSettings_13

External Media

At the time I was trying to play wild west with my friend @awe5omehotdog and his cousins but it bugs out until I turn off VREnabled.

We’ve filed a ticket into our internal database for this issue, and will come back as soon as we have updates!

Thanks for the report!

This is likely because you did not gracefully exit VR, you can fix it by going into your oculus client app → beta → restart

This did not happen in the past up until the new VR UI update. It’s obviously a bug. It’s supposed to automatically be off when the Headset disconnects.

Good news! We’ve fixed the issue! NO NEED TO FORCE QUITE OCULUS. Everything should be running properly now.
Please update the Roblox Client to the latest and you should no longer seeing the incorrect VR behavior when the device has already disconnected!

Hopefully the other commonly noted bug also gets fixed

If you have the Valve Index plugged in, and steamvr installed, Roblox no matter what will try to boot into vrmode, leaving the only option to rename the steamvr folder, uninstall the app, or disconnect the display cable
