Whenever my roblox settings reset or I redownload roblox to fix something, the VR mode and Haptics setting puts themselves on Enabled, even if I don’t have the Oculus/Meta app open (any oculus thing open actually when checking task manager), this causes a few second buffer when starting roblox sometimes.
Expected behavior
I think VR Mode and Haptics should be something you have to enable manually, just like the fps slider or graphics quality.

for some reason, the vr option is now auto enabling itself for me every time i boot roblox, and i think its also causing my roblox to crash on join alot too

I haven’t had it turn on automatically in a while, having VR mode and/or Haptics on doesn’t cause roblox to lag or crash upon startup.
Just received notficiation that a fix for this was just commited yesterday. Should be seeing the results in the next few days. If issue continues to persist please feel free to reach out and post another issue
