Hello, right now my game is ready to be released. Though just to be sure I want to test my game to make sure there aren’t any major bugs. My game is a rpg game where you do quest and all that. If you can test my game to see if there are any major bugs or you could just give some feedback on something, for example lag then that would be very much appreciated. I’ll be answering all comments. I hope you like the game.
The avatar part was really good, I really enjoyed it, the part of going to the first sea took a while but managed to do it, the combat itself was good, good job!
Ok so in the avatar customization part you should have the ability to choose shirts with different colors instead of them being all white, also the option for a second hair should also be optional. The teleporting time to go to “First sea” was way too long and should be a bit faster. The mother doesn’t really have a purpose and is just standing there gazing at the sky, I also feel like there should be stairs to go down and not having to jump since that would have been close to fatal, I didn’t understand what I was supposed to do when I joined the game since there was only a tutorial and nothing else to do. I don’t think punching should take like 70 stamina and should be 15 or 20. When I opened the menu after opening the shop the shop was still there overlapping the menu, you should have them automatically close when you open a new one like menu. I also don’t understand what “dicing” is, is it dicing food? Is it dicing whatever? I don’t know what it means! When you open the menu or shop you should have something that tells you what everything in that game does.
Thanks for the feedback, but there was a lot that you didn’t do. Like the quest and fighting enemys. You were supposed to talk to Mother who Directed you to other Npc with other quest and what not.
Here is the first thing I noticed, the dice on the main menu. It’s not very obvious that these are menu options. I would recommend instead of an animation to show what the menu option is, just have it always be shown so it’s more apparent what they are.
This also applies to the end of the character creation menu for the menu option to start the game.
The teleport time is long along with the game loading.
When in the main area, my game starts chugging. I don’t know why it’s slow since I have decent specs for my computer. Though after a while, it stopped being slow.
When you open the menus like Inventory, the jiggle effect is kinda annoying. I feel like having the menu tween in is fine but the additional jiggle can get old fast. Also you can have more than one menu open at a time. I think if you try to open up a new menu, it closes the menu you already have open. As well, i think each menu should have a way to close it on the menu itself as long with the button you use to open it.
When I picked up a chest, it didn’t give me any notification of what it was or what it meant. I think there should be something to tell the player what they just got.
Talking to NPCs isn’t really straight forward because I didn’t know they had a click detector within their chest. I feel like the entire NPC should be able to be clicked on and change the mouse icon to show what you are going to do like by the mouse icon should be maybe “Talk”
First of all, GUI colour is nauseating, second, what is that customization music…? It’s pretty horrid and chaotic. The loading screen has these “tips” texts. They change way too fast for a person that has slower reading speed, you should probably just made it change every 3-4 seconds.
Tutorial has typos (First, were. It’s supposed to be we’re). The game suddenly lags hard and whenever i did a maneuver control (like rolling, jumping, etc), it only did that to the character after like 1-2 seconds of delay, which is… very bad to a PvP game like this.
Punching takes too much stamina, map is not really optimal to do stuff (are you chasing a certain theme here? it doesn’t look consistent and very jaggy). Picking item doesn’t notify me.
But all and all, tutorial is easy to follow, so i give extra creds for that. The rest, please do fix it
Quick question, we’re there any troubles loading into the game? Some people said that it took long to load into the game and now that I fixed it I just want to know.
Yes it did take quite a while but that’s a Roblox thing recently that I’ve been having. I’m sure your game isn’t entirely responsible for lag issues especially with more people on the web now than ever.
I’ll comment on one thing since I’m sort of busy at the moment - the menu needs much better handling and can get messy quite quickly. Here’s what I mean:
Thank you all for the great feedback! Thanks to you I can release my game without anything bad happening. There we’re some things that I don’t really find that bad. Like the music being “nauseating.” But i’ll still work on it.
You can find the discord in the Social Links of my game or Group. Thanks!
