I made a strategy game called War on the Sea.
There is single player and multiplayer and I have tested both and it was quite fun

The game itself is great, it’s fun and looks good. But the lobby…it looks really low effort and the lobby guis look equally as bad. But I believe that if you fix those things, this game can become an amazing game.

@kkkyyaaannn Thank you so much! I took a long time to make this game. Did you like the singleplayer? Which is bad the shops or the tutorial? What is wrong with the lobby features?
Were you able to launch aircraft? Did you beat the bot?

Man. The game has such a good concept. Tested it out with a friend on mobile, even though I had some issues with mobile (my camera would spin after a bit of moving around and some gui would not fit in the screen), I totally enjoyed the game and I can clearly see an amazing strategy concept. Just, rework the gui and the lobby. I think those are the only issues. I was honestly surprised with the job done with the scripting, such as the queuing system, etc… Keep it up, polish the game and the thumbnails. You’re in the right track champ.

The game has potential however things like really weird camera where if I move with A or D key it lowers me into the water may make users want to leave the game, as well what can be improved is the UI instead of having basic white labels it could be customized to have 1 color scheme or something.

The time that planes take to get to the ship and the damage they do is somewhat annoying because normal ship - ship damage is around the same it would be great if planes could deal more damage however have a chance to be shot down by the other ship’s AA or even if you made the planes faster it would help.

Other ships like the battleship and destroyer serve little purpose and in my playthrough didn’t affect much of the battle so if battleship or destroyer had a bigger impact it would be cool as well.

Regards in bullets and visuals it could be improved to rather being shot in straight like you could perform calculations of bullets to act like bullets would realistically, as in have a curve to them when being fired, some bullets could miss and hit water as well.

Battleships and destroyers have a HUGE impact… when they get close enough. Doing higher damage then carriers, and having high health and AA, they can be very powerful used correctly, as my dad used against me, if planes are sent to protect them. :slight_smile: I will make the bullets better. Ship shells usually do 100 damage, bombs and torpedoes do 1200-1600 damage.

You could then demonstrate the effect that battleships and destroyers have on the game through use of sound, battleships could have a more louder sound to their main batteries to signify greater power with a more powerful flash when a round it shot out, on impact it could as well leave greater explosion than other types of ships to show what hit you.

You could as well implement camera shake to if you are close to an impact site or near a turret that’s being fired your screen will shake. Destroyers could have torpedo’s as their secondary weapon that would deal more damage to the carrier which would give users a urge to take out the enemy destroyer.

Otherwise if you make the ships slightly faster and with the bullet changes to the visuals you could create something even more fun to play.

This game is very unique and super fun to play, but the thing that throws me off is really the guis cause I couldn’t really tell what they did a lot of the time. For example i had no idea which ship was which, so it would be awesome if a gui showed up and it was a map of the area with the ships on it and you tap which ship you wanted to attack/defend. I also recommend adding more plane and ship types for more interesting battles

@Corrupt_Champion. Thanks. Hope you had lots of fun. There are actually FOUR plane types (heayv bombers and heavy fighters) but to launch them you need gold which unlocks them permantly if you buy it. Then you may launch em in game

First thing I noticed is that the thumbnail is quite hideous(no offense), it’s just poorly taken screenshots of the game. The concept of the game is cool, however, the GUIs are very minimal effort. There doesn’t seem to be any constraints on them, so they get super warped, and the images seem to be taken straight off of Google.

Great game, you should add multiplayer but with with more than 1 person on a team and boats you can deploy, I would definitely play it

The gameplay looks cool, however, a problem I’ve encountered is no one else playing the game, thus making it impossible for me to legitimately play.

@Coldshot_Dev. You didn’t play singleplayer?
