Hello i have been trying to make a hiding effect like in the game doors for when i hide in my wardrobe and it dosen’t look very good as it does in doors so i would just ask for help and tips to make it.

would be nice if you showed to us how your ‘‘hide effect’’ is right now, can’t really help without seeing how the progress is, what is the issue? camera? animation?
as i noticed in doors, the main thing is, camera is in first person mode, and ( i believe ) they dind’t animated the camera while hiding, only the head that makes some tilting on the camera, giving some effects, also, don’t hide too fast, it may look weird ( like 0.00001 seconds insta hide )
the hide effect is the black at the edge of the screen fading in, in the video i sent
the black around the screen at the edges of the screen is what i mean
i was editing some gradient using Pixilart ( not too good for this )
but i made this:
if you see something white, make sure to turn [Background transparency to 1]
and to adjust the ‘‘effect’’ just edit 0.1~~1 [Image Transparency]
in Roblox Studio you can create using Frames with black color and messing up with transparency, but this will take too much time and you will create alot of frames and stuff, that’s why i recommend using some software to draw the background
