Thank you to everyone who listened to my latest track, Chengdu. The responses were really heartwarming, as I loved making that piece! Within just a day it was my best received song ever! Thank you! This inspired me to make another, which I hope you will love just as much (I know I do)! I tried to have a lot of harmonic segments in the song to give it a very strong, powerful sense. Every instrument plays its own specific role throughout the composition, making everything unique and distinct from one another.
I named it after Zhuge Liang, a diplomat and tactician during the late Han Dynasty under Liu Bei. I believe the song captures an intense, warlike feel; however, it does not convey a battle, moreso the events leading to the battle. Such as planning the strategy, which Zhuge was a master of, comparable to Sun Tzu, writer of “The Art of War”.
Enjoy the song and please leave feedback! I’d love to make more of these! I don’t mean to self promote, but a like and follow on SoundCloud would also mean a lot to me!
Another good track my man! The composition is particularly impressive to me. The melodies and the details in the percussion sound very professional. As someone who doesn’t have the most complex melodies in my music, I think it’s really cool that you came up with them and made them mesh together so well!
Keep it up! I’ll be sure to follow your SC when I have a second!
Thank you! I’m very glad to hear you appreciated the complexity! Would you mind posting the link to your SC? I’d love to hear some of your compositions, you seem really intelligent with music theory. I’d love to hear what you do!
I really like your music! You’re much more talented with EDM and electronic music than I am! It’s the one genre I can’t figure out no matter what. lol
