Thank you for your report! I have a feeling the water is still being rendered but it’s under the terrain at the distance. Would it help if you make the solid parts under the water deeper?
Hi, so the water in my game is intentionally very shallow. I actually had this same problem about a year ago
So while what you’re saying could be true, it’s not something I would want to change unless absolutely necessary. Another thing to note is that it is perfect on mobile devices.
I was about to make a post about this issue until I saw this. Same thing is happening to me unfortunately. In studio it shows the shallow water should render perfectly fine but it is an issue in-game when terrain far from the player renders on-top of the water.
This is happening to my game too! Not in studio, but when you try the game in the actual roblox launcher it breaks and loads into chunks! Has there been a fix?
How has this not been fixed in over a MONTH?! It’s truly baffling to me that this has gone unfixed for so long, especially when it affects ALL games that use terrain water.
