water transparency only works with a certain graphics level and up not exactly sure what. but make sure to check that you’re on graphics level 21 or max in studio settings. unfortunately this is what it will look like for mobile users still, hopefully not for long once they start to release higher end features on mobile devices.

It can also be caused by your graphics API/hardware, Certain legacy GPUs and stranger GPUs (like samsungs exynos) dont support all features of the graphics apis, like stuff used for the water effects

Im not 100% sure if this is still true and im too lazy to test but if graphics quality isnt the culprit this is probably still a thing.

Water transparency only works with graphics settings 5-10.

You have to change your studio’s graphics level, keep in mind it is different from the one you use when you play a game in studio. It seems like it is intentional behavior.

I don’t exactly see the issue here, you can’t view these properties without play-testing, or pressing run. This isn’t a bug, if you want something like this to be shown without play-testing/running then submit a #feature-requests.

You must have different graphics settings in the Player vs Studio, all playtest modes use your Player settings.

Transparency is disabled for certain quality levels for performance reasons.

You can verify this by forcing the quality level to 16 or higher by going to File > Studio Settings > Rendering > Editor Quality Level.

That did nothing, did not fix my issue.

Make sure your Graphics Mode is either DirectX, Vulkan, or Metal, I don’t believe the other graphics modes support transparency
